The bible tells us in in Matthew 25 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'. These words bring me great comfort every time I visit my community and we bless them with food and other much needed items. We were able to bless each family with 10 lbs of beans and rice and a liter of oil.

Since the kids received toys for Christmas I never want the adults to feel left out so we bless them with items like t-shirts, hats, lotions, earrings, nail polish, hair accessories and other toiletry items.

This past year we started a chicken farm and were able to give each family 4lbs of fresh chicken that they could go home and fix for dinner. This may not sound like a big deal to most but for a family that never gets to eat meat it is a big deal.  They were all very happy.
