I need you to PUSH

Pray Until Something Happens.. I personally believe that God's word clearly tells us to Ask, Believing and You SHALL Receive so I pray once and the rest of the time I pray thanking Him for answering my first prayer. That's what I ask of you to do for me as well.  Here's what I need.

1. I have been struggling for years with different symptoms in my body and have always thought it was an under active thyroid. Two of my aunts have one and I have all the symptoms they have had. My blood work comes back fine but yet I have all the signs so doctors just say I'm ok. I went to a wellness doctor who feels 110% that I have it and along with other tests he ran feels certain if I don't change my eating habits and my stress levels that I will be over 300 lbs in two years. (I gained 25 lbs in 45 days).  My insurance will not pay for him to treat me so on March 26th I have an appointment to see an Endocronlogist to see if they agree with is diagnoses and give me meds that are not synthetic. Insurance will pay to see this doctor. Pray with me that this doctor will not look at my blood work but look at all the symptoms I have struggled with for years. The wellness doctor has told me I can not eat any sugar, carbs or bread and so for two weeks I have pretty much ate meat, salad and eggs. My body is going through detox and I have the energy of a dead log and feel pretty horrible most days. I leave for Nicaragua on March 7th. I need my energy back. I believe I am healed by the stripes of Jesus and I expect these symptoms to go away, until they do pray I have the strength to endure and this doctor will have the wisdom needed to take me down the right direction. Lord, I thank you for perfect healing...

2. I am in need of finding more opportunities to share what God is doing in Nicaragua. I need more churches and people to get involved. My resources are limited now that I lost my part-time job last August but the needs never slow down. Please pray that I will see the doors that God will open for me and I will walk through them. He promises in Rev. 3:7 that He will open doors that no man can shut. I'm looking for those doors now. Lord thank you for the open doors you have for me and for the new opportunities to tell more people about your plans for my little community in Nicaragua.

3. I need to raise $1500 to purchase a motorcycle for Pastor Arturo. He is so faithful to minister to the people in Ceibita but it is huge sacrifice and struggle for him to go there. A motorcycle would change his life. It's tax season so I am believing God that someone I know who got a large amount back would feel led to sow into this Pastor and help me bless him. Lord thank you for the people in my life and the people who have an abundance and can bless this Pastor. Thank you for Pastor Arturo's love for the people of Ceibita and for his faithfulness. Thank for you allowing me to be a part of your plan for him and for the provision to buy him a motorcycle.

4. The house that's being built for Antonio is at a stopping point because I need to raise $800 to fix his bathroom and kitchen area and connect him to the water system. He and his family are having to live in a very small house with his parents right now. I am looking for families to host a jewelry party for me so I can raise that $800. If you would be interested in hosting a party at your home please let me know. Every dime counts right now. Please pray for opportunities for me to sell the jewelry I have. Lord thank you for being faithful and taking care of your children. Antonio and his family are your children and they love you and desire to have their own home. Thank you for my home and for the home Antonio will soon live in. I know that You will bless me with the money to help him get moved into his house.

5.  Last September I got a letter from the IRS temporary terminated my non-profit status until I could correct a problem that was found. I have corrected it and sent the paperwork and paid the penalty. Please pray they will hurry up and reinstate it. It's frustrating waiting on them. Pray it lands on the desk of a believer who pushes it through the red tape process. I've waited a long time. They say it can take up to 6-8 months.  Lord, I thank you for a speedy solution to this problem.

So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

Preparing to Leave

On Thursday I will leave for Nicaragua with 3 other people from Charlotte and I will meet 30 more people in Managua. I am blessed to work for Ambassadors To The Nations who have been working in Nicaragua since 1992. It is an honor to not only serve the Lord with missions on my own but to partner with such a great organization and have that as my JOB every day also.

On the 13th I will leave then and meet Gwen Emmett at the airport and together we will head to Somotillo to bless a lot of people.

In January I sent tons of boxes by container to bless the kids and young adults. I can't wait to visit each home and hand them out. This will be the first time they will receive care boxes from the US. No every family was able to participate but through the blessings of Ambassadors every child will get a nice box.

I need the prayer warriors of this group to start praying now for me and this trip. My health is still an issue and the ability to eat healthy in Nicaragua is not convenient. Pray I find solutions to accommodate my strict diet. Additionally, pray for good weather, a unity among out teams and that the hearts of all the people we will minister to are open and ready to hear the Good News. Please also pray for my family as I am leaving Terry for 13 days with 3 kids and a business to run. I am so grateful I have a wonderful supportive husband.

I am excited to say I am only $300 short of being able to purchase the motorcycle for Pastor Arturo and I have raised enough money to purchase more than 30 chairs for the church and hopefully a podium for Pastor Arturo's bible. I just love blessing this man of God who sacrifices so much to bless my little community.

If you would still like to contribute toward any of the needs I sent out before there is still time. Just let me know.

I appreciate the prayers and I can't wait to give you a great report on what God's plans turn out to be.

Blessings,

Angie

Foundation for Life Orphanage

For those of you who have been a part of this ministry for a long time you will remember this place and for the new ones let me introduce it to you. From 2004 until December 7th 2008 I was working at an orphanage called Hogar de Rose. The House of Rose in English. During this time I fell deep in love with on average about 17 little girls. Even my Francis came from this orphanage.

In December 2008 due to reasons that make no since the orphanage was closed and the current 17 girls were disbursed to many different places. This caused great devastation in my heart. I cried on and off for months. These girls had become my family and the thought of never seeing them again and not saying Goodbye tore my heart into pieces.

In the summer of 2009 I went to Nicaragua in hopes of finding some of these kids again. I contacted the DSS offices and begged for their help and was blessed to get information on where the children had gone. In the very city I was at an orphanage called Foundation for Life was holding 5 of the 17. 5 cousins. The other children were spread across many cities and placed back into the horrible homes they were removed from.

With permission I was given the opportunity to visit the kids in the new orphanage. I will never forget that day. I hide around the corner as I heard the director tell my 5 little friends someone was there to visit them. Immediately I heard them ask was it Angie. My heart was filled with great joy knowing I had impacted their lives so much that out of all the people they could have guessed was there to see them they choose me.  Within minutes I had my little girls in my arms and them telling me "I knew you would find us".

Since then the director of the orphanage has allowed me to be a part of their lives and the lives of the other children. Ironically the directors name is Angela and she speaks English which is a huge blessing for me.

Last night I spoke to her and for the first time heard a great heaviness in her voice. The orphanage is funded by a large organization out of Canada and apparently they are having financial struggles and have not met the orphanages budget needs for this past month. You can't just stop sending money to a home with 24 kids and 6 adults. That's not an option.

The orphanage grows a large part of their food and they sell bread to raise extra money and right now are doing ok but are concerned about the coming months. Please pray with me that I am able to connect them with organizations in Nicaragua that can help offset their monthly food budget. I will be working on that first thing on Monday.

The orphanage has some other needs that I feel led to share with you. I have lived by faith and the approach that if you don't ask you don't get. Who knows what other people may have laying around in their garages or may know someone that has the items needed. I don't but God does and He has a perfect plan for the Foundation of Life Orphanage.

Below is a list of items that the orphanage needs to purchase but are using their resources to ensure the children are feed instead. If you have these items new or used please let me know as soon as possible. I would like to get this stuff on the container in January.  I know these items are not typically things laying around your house but you just never know. Let's watch God's plan come together.

Items Needed:

1. A small freezer - around 7 to 10 cubit feet. They don't want a large one because of the cost of electricity to run it.

2. A commercial gas stove - similar to one that would be used in a church but a little bigger than one in a house.

3. A Rotary Push Mower - she needs several of these actually. They live on a big farm and can't afford the gas for a push mower.

4.Stainless Steel Pots and Pans - commercial size, heavy duty - like the ones used at a church, hospital or nursing home. When cooking for 30 people every meal I am sure the larger the better.

All of these items are extremely hard to get in Nicaragua and extremely expensive.

Please keep your eyes and ears open. Share this with others. You never know what business may be changing their equipment and would donate them or maybe a school is getting rid of old pots. Nothing would surprise me with God.

Please keep these kids and the directors in your prayers. None of the children can be adopted. This will be their home and family for the rest of their lives. Angela and her husband have given up everything to take care of these kids, they are wonderful Christian people.

These kids deserve to have a safe home, lots of love and food to eat. Pray for provision to come to this wonderful group of people. While I am in Nicaragua I will be blessing them with many items of clothing and some money for food and I am hoping with good news that someone will be helping them on a regular basis.

God Bless all of you and thanks in advance for your help,

Angie

Happy Thanksgiving..

I have so much to be thankful this year that I can't even keep track of it all.  I wanted to share just a few of the highlights from this year that through our prayers and support I got to be a part of in this ministry. 1. The Honeycutt family had their first Thanksgiving with their new daughter Francis and today we will carry on that tradition again. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to serve you and bless your child with a family.

2. Thank you Lord for allowing me to see that in this day and time you are still our greatest physician. Thank you for your healing power. Thank you for allowing my team in March/April see a little girl get healed right before our eyes. Thank you for allowing my team and I to be at that moment in that hospital to do your will and pray for that little girl. It has truly caused my faith to grow and my trust in you to be stronger.

3. Thank you for the many financial blessings  given to me by tons of different people for the purpose of building one of my dearest friends Antonio from Nicaragua and his family a new house.  Antonio has been a faithful servant and his dream is days away from coming true. He and his family will be moving into their new 4 room home and no longer will they have to be rained on.  Bless all the givers with an overflowing abundance of finances. Give them a 100 fold return on their investment into the kingdom.

4. Thank you Lord for answering my prayers concerning my mom. For the past 23 years my mom has lived in a house with no heat. Every winter she gets Pneumonia and every winter ice freezes on the inside of her windows. Not this year!!!  As of this past February she moved into her first home and this month she is enjoying warm heat. Thank you Lord for the government assistance she received.  Thank you for allowing my mom to be the owner of a new home. Thank you for your faithfulness in hearing our prayers.

5. Thank you Lord for the 102 kids who attended school this year and will be attending again  in February. Bless all the sponsors who gave unselfishly to these kids. Bless them in a special way so they'll know it was their wiliness to give that changed the  life for their child.

6. Thank you Lord for all the toys, shoes, clothes, food and love I was given the opportunity to give to the families in Nicaragua. Thank you for putting your love for this country in my heart and providing the resources for me to be a part of something so amazing.

7. Thank you Lord for all the people who have prayed for me this year and for those who have sowed into this ministry. They are all amazing individuals and are highly favored by you. Continue to bless them in more way than they can imagine. Without them I could not do this. Help them to see and know that what they do to help me is appreciated more than words can every say.

This list could go on and on but for now I will end by saying I am so grateful and thankful for all you. You have allowed me to be used by God and many lives have been affected.  God Bless all of you.

Happy Thanksgiving,

The Honeycutt Family
