Happy Thanksgiving..

I have so much to be thankful this year that I can't even keep track of it all.  I wanted to share just a few of the highlights from this year that through our prayers and support I got to be a part of in this ministry. 1. The Honeycutt family had their first Thanksgiving with their new daughter Francis and today we will carry on that tradition again. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to serve you and bless your child with a family.

2. Thank you Lord for allowing me to see that in this day and time you are still our greatest physician. Thank you for your healing power. Thank you for allowing my team in March/April see a little girl get healed right before our eyes. Thank you for allowing my team and I to be at that moment in that hospital to do your will and pray for that little girl. It has truly caused my faith to grow and my trust in you to be stronger.

3. Thank you for the many financial blessings  given to me by tons of different people for the purpose of building one of my dearest friends Antonio from Nicaragua and his family a new house.  Antonio has been a faithful servant and his dream is days away from coming true. He and his family will be moving into their new 4 room home and no longer will they have to be rained on.  Bless all the givers with an overflowing abundance of finances. Give them a 100 fold return on their investment into the kingdom.

4. Thank you Lord for answering my prayers concerning my mom. For the past 23 years my mom has lived in a house with no heat. Every winter she gets Pneumonia and every winter ice freezes on the inside of her windows. Not this year!!!  As of this past February she moved into her first home and this month she is enjoying warm heat. Thank you Lord for the government assistance she received.  Thank you for allowing my mom to be the owner of a new home. Thank you for your faithfulness in hearing our prayers.

5. Thank you Lord for the 102 kids who attended school this year and will be attending again  in February. Bless all the sponsors who gave unselfishly to these kids. Bless them in a special way so they'll know it was their wiliness to give that changed the  life for their child.

6. Thank you Lord for all the toys, shoes, clothes, food and love I was given the opportunity to give to the families in Nicaragua. Thank you for putting your love for this country in my heart and providing the resources for me to be a part of something so amazing.

7. Thank you Lord for all the people who have prayed for me this year and for those who have sowed into this ministry. They are all amazing individuals and are highly favored by you. Continue to bless them in more way than they can imagine. Without them I could not do this. Help them to see and know that what they do to help me is appreciated more than words can every say.

This list could go on and on but for now I will end by saying I am so grateful and thankful for all you. You have allowed me to be used by God and many lives have been affected.  God Bless all of you.

Happy Thanksgiving,

The Honeycutt Family

Praise Report and Prayer Request

Today all the kids with Operation Education were sponsored thanks to many wonderful people like yourself. That's my Praise Report.. God is so good. He is always so faithful and takes great care of His kids..

Now for my prayers request. I need to find 9 (or more) Sunday school classes, Woman's groups, Children's ministries or just individuals who would be willing to send a student to college.

Here in the US the dream of college for our kids comes along side the thoughts of how we will be able to afford that. Can you imagine how a set of parents who only make $30 to $50 a month feels when it's time for their child to go off to college? I am sure it's the same thoughts we have just on a different scale.

I met with these students personally and each brought their budget to me. They were prepared  to discuss their needs with me. Two of them sit in the hot sun for 1 1/2 hours waiting on me to finish in a community. I was so proud of them for their dedication.

I know that asking in this economy for $50 a month is a lot so that's why I'm looking for groups of people to come together and as a group change the life and future of a student.

Some suggestions would be?

1. 5 family members paying only $10 a month.

2. A Sunday School class of 50 paying only a $1 a month.

3. A company paying the entire $600.

4. Two best friends paying $25 each a month.

There are so many possible options that can make this happen. It just takes willingness.

Will you help promote this project? Will you tell your Sunday School class? Your family? Others?

I can't do this by myself but together we can change the world one student at a time.

I have watched God do amazing things in my walk and I know it's His will to bless these students. Now I sit and watch him orchestrate His perfect plan. Will you be a part of it?

I would be happy to come and speak with any group that will have me.

Please let me know if you are interested. I can give you more details about each student.

Thanking God for open doors and expecting them to open soon.

Angie

ps. Please share with anyone and everyone

Operation Education Update

The deadline for payment and sponsorship is MONDAY, OCT. 15th. I still have 19 kids that are not sponsored.

Would you consider sponsoring a child for $35 a year. It will be the best investment you can make.

If you have already sponsored a child thank you very much. If you want to send them something for Christmas I will need it on or before the last day of November. Please keep it small because I do not have much space this trip.

I will have an opportunity to send things on a container in January and February so if you would like to send more you can then and I will give it to them in March.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Angie

To sponsor a child;

1. Go to the website and select the child. www.thepowerofoneministry.org/school/2013/index.html

2. Email me with the name.

3. Send a check to The Power of One Ministry, 198 Mellwood Dr., Charlotte, NC  28214. Write the check out to Ambassadors To The Nations if you want a tax deduction, otherwise write it to the ministry.

4. Pray for your child.

Operation Education Reminder

The October 15th deadline will be coming soon and there are 48 kids who still need a sponsor. Please send this email to others in your family who might want to sponsor a child.

I have families who have decided instead of a present this year they want a child sponsored in honor of their relative or themselves.  That's a true sacrifice.

$35 is only giving up Pizza for 1 weekend of the NEXT year or 6 trips to Starbucks throughout the ENTIRE year.

We can waist that money really fast at any Walmart buying things we really don't need if we are not careful. It's a little sacrifice compared to what these families would have to give up.

This community is still only averaging $35 - $50 per month income. To pay for the school supplies and uniform they would have to go without food for the ENTIRE month for just one child.

Please consider making an investment into the lives of these kids. I have seen an amazing transformation over the years in the kids of Ceibita. They have a spark in their eye I didn't see when I first went there and I don't want that flame to burn out. All it takes is one spark from Jesus and a raging fire can burn within them. Help me keep that flame burning.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for these kids to go to school without help.

Will you bless a child this year?

Check out the photos of the kids at www.thepowerofoneministry.org/school/2013/index.htm

If you decide on a child all you have to do is;

1. Email me the child's name so I can remove them from the list.

2. Send your check for $35 to: The Power of One Ministry, 198 Mellwood Drive, Charlotte, NC. Make the check payable to Ambassadors To The Nations to receive a tax deduction. (if you missed previous emails about this and need more info, please call or email me.)

3. Pray for this child and their family. You can also send them notes, letters, birthday cards and small gifts through the school year if you so desire.

It's that easy...1, 2, 3.. and you can change a life forever.

God Bless,

Angie

Operation Education 2013

Can you believe how fast this year is going? I can't. It seems like only yesterday it was the beginning of the year. School has started here in the states which means the school year in Nicaragua is half way over. School starts around Valentines Day and ends on Black Friday for my kids in Ceibita.

During my August trip to Nicaragua i took my annual pictures of the kids and of a new community called Pala Grande. This year I have 102 kids who need a sponsor for school. Currently I have 55 who don't have anyone asking for them and last week I was blessed to get 26 of them sponsored during a week long camp meeting at my church.

For those of you who normally sponsor a child I have NOT posted your kids online. I am hoping will you want to sponsor again this year. If that is not the case, please let me know as soon as possible so I can add that child to the rest. I will email you personally to confirm or you can reply to this message letting me know of your plans.

For all of you who have never sponsored and would like to this is a great opportunity to show the love of Christ to families who have never experience His great love. The new kids in Pala Grande have never had an experience where total strangers just love on them.

I need to have these kids sponsored as soon as possible so I am setting the deadline to OCTOBER 15th. The prices are going up as we speak due to all the unrest in the world. Imports from other countries are costing more and more and those increases are passed onto the consumers.

This years price to sponsor is $35. This will include a new uniform, shoes, backpack and school supplies.

Can you imagine if your child never had the opportunity to learn how to read simply because they didn't have the RIGHT clothes to wear to school? It breaks my heart to think what life would be like if you could never read or write.

If you would like to sponsor a child please visit http://www.thepowerofoneministry.org/school/2013/

Once you have chosen a child you will need to email me that child's name at angie@thepowerofoneministry.org

In prior years you have sent your payment directly to The Power Of One Ministry. This year I will need you to do something different. Let me explain why.

Two weeks ago I received a letter from the IRS informing me that they have revoked my non-profit status temporarily. Apparently, I was suppose to submit a form that I didn't send in. My accountant was not aware of this form and neither was I. I now have to pay an $850 fine and it can take up to 90 days to correct it. Once it is submitted they will reinstate my status and all will be ok but until then I have to use another ministry  to accept any donations for those who want a tax deduction. Please follow these steps if you want to sponsor.

1. Pick out your child and send me an email with the child/children's names first.

2. Make your check payable to Ambassadors To The Nations (this is where I work and my boss has agreed to give you a tax deduction. If you do not care about the deduction you can send your check in my ministry name  but in order to get the tax deduction you MUST have Ambassadors name on the check.

3. Mail it to: The Power of One Ministry - 198 Mellwood Drive - Charlotte, NC 28214

I am sorry for any confusion this may cause and I hope that it will not change your mind. The enemy would love for me to lose supporters over this mess. I promise I have not done anything illegal. It was an honest mistake and will be corrected soon. Pray for the money to come in to pay the fine. That is all that is holding me up.

I am looking forward to seeing God's hand at work and His blessings to fall on all these children.

Thanks again for your support and God Bless ALL of you.

Angie
