For the past 5 years I have been working with an orphanage in Nicaragua. 5 of the 24 kids are kids I have know since they were toddlers. They lived in the same orphanage Francis lived at. The directors of the orphanage have become a part of my family. They treat me with kindness I can't even describe.
I love visiting the kids and seeing both of them. I found out that their 22nd wedding anniversary was in February so I thought it would be a good idea to get them involved with a nice surprise for them.
My friend Gwen who went on the trip is talented beyond my imagination and designed a paper bouquet of flowers and a card for them. We also gave them a photo of themselves that was taken many years ago.
The kids love to make crafts and they loved doing it in secret. We had lots of fun and are very grateful for the time we get with the kids. Thanks so much Angela and Felix for all your dedication to these kids.
After blessing the directors we blessed the kids with toy care packages and a new bunny stuffed animal.
