Registering the kids each year is the highlight of the year. When the kids know it is time to take pictures for the next school year they get existed because they know new uniforms and backpacks are coming. Its great to see the excitement in their eyes.
In December of each year schools have a graduation ceremony for those students moving from Kindergarten to 1st Grade, 5th Grade to Middle school and most importantly the senior graduation. This year we had 12 Preschoolers, 8 Middle Schoolers and 8 Seniors participate. What an accomplishment considering only 1 out of every 3 students even get to attend school much less graduate.
Meet Angela Dominquez. Through support of a sponsor she was able to attend college can graduate with her Teaching degree. Her family and I were very proud of her as it takes a great sacrifice to graduate while being a mother, wife and living in an area where money is very limited.
